I LOVE lightning bugs! They come out as the sky is painted with the sunset, during the most beautiful part of the year. You relax after a hard day, enjoy a cold drink as its condensation drips on your bare legs & toes, & they appear. Tiny balls of magic lit on fire, desperately searching for each other, silently illuminating the night amidst the joyous screams of neighborhood children not yet called in for the night...
